Sheena Wright, LAPC
I believe counseling is a safe space to learn new skills, gain insight, and take steps toward becoming a healthier, more healed version of yourself. Over the years, I’ve worked with clients in many different settings, including hospitals, schools, and private practice. I’ve also had the privilege of working with people in the Middle East, Africa, and here in the U.S. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for cultural differences and the unique ways each person’s story shapes their journey.
My focus is on helping clients navigate life transitions and build resilience along the way. Change is ever present regardless of nationality or culture and can be stressful and overwhelming; it can even make you feel like you’ve lost your sense of self. In therapy we’ll work on strengthening your ability to cope with challenges, reduce harmful stress, and find clarity about your next steps. I use a mix of approaches like mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support your goals and help you move forward with confidence.
In addition to these clinical approaches I offer a Christian faith-integrated approach for clients who want to include their faith in the healing process. At the same time, I welcome clients of all backgrounds and beliefs. My goal is to create a supportive and compassionate space where you feel seen, encouraged, and gently challenged to grow. Together, we’ll work toward healing, balance, and a renewed sense of well-being.
